WHO and THAT We see these two words get mixed up a lot. Quite simply:
Who is for people, That is for things. (Usually... He he!) Examples: Incorrect - There was a boy in my class that used to pick his nose. Correct - There was a boy in my class who used to pick his nose. Incorrect - Philip was my old friend that stole my bike. Correct - Philip was my old friend who stole my bike.
